THE TOWER

 

 

 The east-facing side of The Tower is now equipped with its large 5-metre by 3-metre verandah, constructed in 2004 by local artisans to match the  existing architecture.  

      

                                                                      

What sets The Tower apart is its first floor bedroom     
which is a superb vantage point for views across the
gardens and valley towards the hamlet of Bourniquel. 

 

  

 The living room captures the essence of rural France, with distinctive beamed ceiling, Provencal tiled floor,  impressive oak staircase, oak kitchen,  and French windows leading out to the new verandah. 

     Out here on the terrace, even breakfast becomes a memorable meal. 

 

Upstairs, the open-style floor layout lends an airiness that is welcome in the height of the summer.  Once again, oak beams and chestnut wood ceilings are a constant  reminder of the building’s heritage as one of the original structures at Domaine de Leygue.
