Once a metaire [small farm], Domaine de Leygue is some two miles from the River Dordogne and has been transformed into an unique collection of four 1-bedroom cottages, each designed specifically to offer exceptional, high quality self-catering accommodation for two people only. 

The setting is over four acres of level, landscaped grounds amidst tranquil, beautiful countryside - completely alone and away from daily life along the river and the nearby town of Lalinde.

Because of our high position, there are marvellous uninterrupted views across the adjoining valley, fields and woods that abound with wildlife including wild boar and a variety of deer.  Wherever you are at Domaine de Leygue – on your private patio or verandah, at the swimming pools or wandering around the gardens – there is always a vista to capture your attention.

The absence of children and the limited number of guests enable you to cherish every day of your holiday.

The cottages

The rural façade of the cottages belies their true nature: exceptional living accommodation that offers a subtle blend of crafted woods, modern kitchens, fine fabrics and a wealth of quality china and glassware. 

Each cottage is distinctly different, thanks to a carefully co-ordinated approach to interior design, with meticulous attention paid to every detail.  All linen is provided, with a complete change at the end of each week.

Within the grounds, we have two large swimming pools - one is solar heated.

Our aim is to ensure that you have comfortable and well-equipped surroundings to make your holiday as enjoyable and memorable as possible.
